Privacy Policy for Sheet2Doc

Information we access

Sheet2Doc accesses the active Google Sheet and the specific Google Doc template and optional Drive folder that you select through Google Drive. This can include spreadsheet cell values, template text and formatting, generated Docs and PDFs, file names, and recipient email addresses that you choose to use for delivery. We also use your Google account email to manage usage, subscriptions, and support.

How data is used

Sheet data is used only to populate merge fields, create Docs or PDFs, send optional emails at your direction, and write status and file links back to the spreadsheet. Template and spreadsheet content is not used for advertising, profiling, or training artificial intelligence models.

How data is shared or disclosed

Google processes the Sheet, template, generated files, and optional email delivery so Sheet2Doc can perform the actions you request. Generated files remain in your Google Drive unless you direct Sheet2Doc to email them to recipients you specify.

Supabase receives your Google account email, application identifier, subscription entitlement, and limited operational usage data such as event type, document count, output format, and error status. Sheet cell contents, template contents, and generated documents are not sent to Supabase. Stripe receives information you provide during checkout or billing management, including your email and payment information. Stripe processes payment-card details directly; Sheet2Doc does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

We do not sell Google user data or disclose it to advertising platforms, data brokers, or information resellers. We disclose Google user data only to provide the user-facing features you request, protect against security or abuse, comply with applicable law, or as part of a business transfer after obtaining any consent required by Google policy and applicable law.

Data protection

Sheet2Doc uses HTTPS/TLS for data transmitted between Google, Supabase, Stripe, and the add-on. Generated files are protected by your Google Drive permissions. Operational account and usage records are protected by Supabase's database access controls and infrastructure encryption, while payment information is protected by Stripe's security controls. Access to production systems and credentials is restricted to authorized personnel and credentials are stored in protected Apps Script project properties. Sheet2Doc requests per-file Google Drive access so it can access only files you select or files it creates.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Generated Docs and PDFs are stored in your Google Drive and remain there until you delete them. Sheet2Doc settings are stored with the active spreadsheet. Account, entitlement, billing, and limited usage records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain billing records, prevent abuse, resolve support issues, and meet legal obligations.

You can delete generated files in Google Drive, revoke Sheet2Doc's Google Account access at any time, or request deletion of Sheet2Doc account and usage data by emailing matthovanic@gmail.com. Some billing records may be retained where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or other legal obligations.

Google API Limited Use

Sheet2Doc's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
